Burkhead Statue along I-80

So Monday afternoon I was driving down I80 and noticed on the south side of the intersate somewhere near milford/seward there was a GIANT T-REX statue. I think we should put a #22 jersey on it!

I was out there yesterday and didn't see anything. I have plans to back on Friday. If I see it I'll stop and take a picture.

 
That's near this odd little dinosaur museum just off the Milford exit. The JournalStar wrote an article about it a while back, so I packed up the family and drove out there. It's a neat little place, with maquette dinosaurs and some info, plus a really fun mirror maze on one side, and a haunted house open year-round on the other.

After we were done we stopped by the little grove of trees next to the highway gas station and looked at this T-Rex statue. I don't know if it's life-size, but I'm just glad those things don't exist anymore.

LoL i dont know it its the actual size but its huge. I didnt get a picture of it but if someone doesnt by friday morning ill get one on my way back to lincoln.
