What if Perlman says to Pederson "Screw you you dip wad, I'm making the change myself", and proceeds to fire Callahan. What can Pederson then do to Perlman? Would Perlman then select the new coach, too?

won't happen, Perlman and Pud "play" with each other. it would have to be a "joint" decision. quite frankly, i don't think they can afford to pay cally and hire another guy for good money, at the same time.
Ped has made a f'ing mess out of this by giving cally the extension and now we will have to live with him for the next 3 years.
