Anyone notice that at the beginning tonight's Saints - Vikings game when the players were introducing themselves Nicks stated that he played for Salinas High rather than Nebraska?

 
quite a few of the players said their HS's as well...I wouldn't put too much thought into it. He did make an attempt to say how he didn't bring a lot of good credit to Nebraska in the offseason I think, so there shouldn't be any reason for bad blood...

 
Honestly who cares? Jared Allen used to make up colleges during his introduction. I remember one time he said he was from the culinary institute of Iowa. I highly doubt anyone from Idaho State was going crazy.

 
Pro football is garbage...but nice tackle by Shanle early! That was awesome. Wow I'm hypocritical hahaha

I did notice, but keep in mind he recently came back to Nebraska and made amends with Pelini last spring I think. It's possible (I'm not sure) that the video of him saying his high school was taken before he got back on good terms with Pelini/the University. That's my best guess as to why.

Sorry to go off topic, but it still baffles me that Scott Shanle not only made an NFL roster, but is a starting LB for a Super Bowl Champ. All the props in the world to him, but I always thought he was mediocre at best while he was here and always seemed a step slow. Glad the people who matter thought otherwise.
