CFB Week 3 Bold Predictions Thread

Roll Skers

Special Teams Player
This week will be an (on paper) boring week, so let us see what happens!

Games:

Baylor gets blown out by Duke to drop to 0-3 (yikes)

Clemson goes into Louisville and wins by 21+

Purdue beats Missouri in a game that exceeds 100 points total

Washington State throws for 450 yards v Oregon State

Wisconsin shuts out BYU, wins 21-0

Florida beats Tennesee

Players:

Tanner Lee bounces back and throws for 3 TD and 0 picks vs NIU

Lamar Jackson (LVille) struggles and throws 3 picks vs Clemson

Rudolph throws for 350 vs Pitt

Speight throws 2 more picks vs Air Force

If this is the bold predictions thread lets really swing it!

Louisville wins by 14+ at home and the Lamar Jackson Heisman repeat train gets cranked up to ludicrous speed.

The fighting Lovie Smith's take USF down to the wire and lose by less than 7.

Oregon beats Wyoming by 28+ and people start wondering if Josh Allen is a bust.

Ohio State hangs 70 on Army to cover the spread with ease and ruffles some feathers along the way.

MTSU beats Minnesota outright as a 10 point 'dog

#21 actually turns around and blocks during a Kick-Off return (who is 21? ) - Spielman should be deciding if he wants to go and the other 10 players should be hitting somebody....  Am i wrong here?

Wilbon

Texas loses to USC by 42 and  some booster starts talk of wondering if they hired the right guy.  :P
USC's daunting 1st sellout since 2013 will overwhelm texas lol

Kalu has two INTs

NU racks up 300 rushing yards

NIU scores zero TDs

Lee completes 70+% of his passes

Louisville beats Clemson

Texas covers, but can't beat USC

B1G goes 11-0

It's been Austin Rose (23) the times I've noticed. A lot of coaches instruct the returner who doesn't catch the ball to keep the actual returner in the end zone if that's where they catch it.

Unlike a punt you can't really read the coverage when you catch a kick, unless somebody is completely unblocked. Coaches don't want to risk getting stopped inside the 10 or 15, so they take the decision out of the returners hands. That being said, I think we should give him the green light if he's 5 yards deep or less.

Kevin Sumlin gets fired from Texas A&M after losing to Louisiana Lafayette

Memphis beats UCLA

Northern Illinois leads Nebraska going into the 4th quarter

Purdue beats Missouri....I don't know why they're a 7 pt underdog

I was thinking the same thing... maybe if you went and blocked someone he could return it.  It's college I don't know if there are too many times if you catch it 2yrds deep in the end zone you can't make to at least the 20

If Wilbon would practice blocking on kickoff's maybe he would have some success picking up a linebacker during a typical play.

Wilbon rushes for 150+,

Lee is Heisman-ish

The D holds NIU to 13 points

Oregon falters and barely beats Wyoming

Texa$$ and aTm both lose, Texas secedes from the Union and forms its own College Football Association, inviting Notre Dame to join them.  They mandate that all teams must run the wishbone.

Somewhere, some team scores on the swinging gate play.
