CFN 2017 B1G Pre-Spring Rankings & Key Storylines

Saunders

Heisman Trophy Winner
5. Nebraska Cornhuskers

– Quarterback derby – game on. The team didn’t go into the tank when Tommy Armstrong got hurt, but it certainly didn’t show enough late in the season without him. Now the Huskers need to come up with a new dynamic option.

– Is the talent level there? There’s experience across the board, and there are plenty of options, but do the Huskers have the playmakers to be more than just a gutty, try-hard team?

– Can the Huskers get more out of the punting game? After the heartbreaking tragedy of the death of Sam Foltz, Nebraska didn’t get anything out of fill-in option Caleb Lightbourn – the team finished 123rd in the nation in punting average.

Not sure how we aren't at 6 or 7 on this list but whatevs
I noticed it contradicts the 1-130 rankings the same author did a few days ago where we were #24 in the country, putting us about 5th in the B1G. I'm waiting for a twitter response.

Welp, they screwed up.

They originally had Nebraska at #24 in the country (coming in at #5 in the B1G), while the newest big rankings had us at #9 in the B1G.

What do the new rankings look like?
Edit:I see we were moved up to 5th as you suggested matches up with the national poll

I fixed it in the original post. They have NU at #24 (national) and #5 in the Big Ten.
