Ok, lots of talk about the ineffectiveness of our current O-Line coach. I'm not trying to start a bash session here, rather, just wanted to know what those here on the board would consider the characteristics of an effective O-Line coach? Also, if our current O-Line coach gets the sack after this year, who would you consider the top choice to take his place? Would that person also get to choose who his assistants would be?

I don't think our O-Line has been effective for awhile. I know that our team has looked good at times but against lesser opponents. The other thing that bothers me is this: If an O-Line is effective that means that we should be able to have less 3 and out plays-right? Or is that all on the quarterback? My thinking is that if your O-Line is effective then you should be able to move the ball up the field more effectively.

Thanks!
