Five-Star Recruit
I live in Oklahoma and I am wanting to drive up to Lincoln for a saturday with my lady friend. We have been talking about either the Missouri game on October 4th, or the Baylor game on the 25th. If you guys have any suggestions of where i could get cheap ( $0-$85), but decent tickes I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

you won't find any tickets for mizzouri below 130-140, your best bet is the baylor game, for that price. The best is probably ebay, or the ticket exchange forum, or an online ticket outlet.

haha! I haven't been to a husker game since I lived in Council Bluffs when i was younger...what should i expect? advice?

Much of the same from when you were last here, sea of red, great people, great football, great times. The stadium is a little updated, but Nebraska is still probably close to how you remember it.

I highly doubt tickets to that game will be that much, but a lot depends on how each team does prior to that game...

I would say you can go to Mizzou for paying more than face value ($50) or Baylor and pay less than face value. Just depends what you want to see, a big time team we will be favored to lose or a game we will most likely win.

Try craigslist, lots of tickets for Baylor. Check the Omaha/CB listing, and the Lincoln listing.

Also, everyone seems to want a first born child for VT and MU tickets. 130-140 is a bargain compared to what I have seen many places.

while it is always a risk, i have never been skunked going to lincoln without tickets and buying them outside the stadium

someone is always looking to sell them

:yeah Buying them in town the day of the game is usually the best way to get good seats at a decent price, just make sure you take a seating chart with you so you know where the seats are at.

The Western Michigan blogger talks about scalpers on his blog here.

In my experience ebay is the most expensive source of tickets.
