Cherry Coffee Cake

Cherry Coffee Cake:

Cream:

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup crisco

1-1/2 cups sugar

Add:

4 beaten eggs

3 cups flour

1-1/2 tsp.s baking powder

1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well in large mixing bowl.

Put 2/3 cup batter in greased jelly roll pan.

Spread 1 can cherry pie filling on top.

Drop rest of batter by tsp.s and spread as much as possib le.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

While cake is still a little warm, spread a powdered sugar frosting over
