Chicken Parmesan:
1-(26-oz.)-Jar Of Your Favorite Pasta Sauce
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese-(Set Aside 4 T. For Use Later)
6 Small Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Halves-(1-1/2-lbs.)
***Use 4 Chicken Breasts For 3 People
3 Or 4 Cloves Crushed Garlic
2 Cups Chopped Fresh Mushrooms
1-1/2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Chees
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Pour sauce into 13x9-in. baking dish. Carefully stir in the Parmesan Cheese, garlic, and mushrooms. Add chicken; turn over to evenly coat both sides with sauce. Cover with foil.
Bake 45 minutes, then uncover.
Top with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and remaining 4 T. Parmesan Cheese; continue baking 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
Serve over hot cooked pasta.
***If you like more sauce, you can add about a 14- oz. can of tomato sauce, 1 Tsp. of dried basil and 1 Tsp. of white sugar to the pan and mix it well with the jarred sauce.
