Texas is too busy fighting off the SEC raid of Texas A&M to even consider anything from the Big 10. All that does is muddy the waters and Texas wants this done.

As for Purple Book Cat, well, that's nice.

I realize that you don't dig the idea of UT to the Big Ten, and that's fine by me. However, PBC has been verified early and more often than Chippy. As kinch said and I alluded to elsewhere, he's looking like a tool for misinformation.

Understand your point and I replied over in the other thread. But how do Texas, Texas Tech and A&M all wind up in the Big 10? Anything less causes a political explosion here, in a year where all three universities are battling for their share of a state budget that's 18 Billion(!) in the hole.

I don't think it's fair to Texas that mom makes them take their little brothers everywhere. They should be able to make their own con deal if they want. By the same token ATM should be able to spread their wings and go join the SEC if they want.
