Chip got players in a devious way. Oregon was put on probation because of it. When he does get hired again, there's a "show cause " clause with the NCAA he has to deal with. I'm not sure what that is exactly, but it exists.

Kelly would absolutely hate Nebraska because of the interest of the fans, boosters, local media, etc. The guy is a recluse and I could see him going to a place like UMASS, one of the service academies, or small program where he could do what he wanted without the big boosters involvement. It is why out of the big schools I could see him working well at UCLA, or Arizona State, where he has a big time program to work with, but not such an engaged fan base.

I would love for Chip Kelly to bring his gimmicky offensive style to Lincoln. The amount of pissing and moaning that the Husker purist would do would be worth it.

Oregon was one of the best rushing teams in college football under Chip Kelly. Chip's offense is a run first offense.

i kind of laugh when people suggest we hire frost when kelly is available. frost uses the system that kelly created... lol

Yes but Frost is a Nebraska guy and could see him being here for a long, long time if he has success. Chip on the other hand, probably wouldn't be a good fit at Nebraska and no guarantees he stays at Nebraska for a long time if he has success.
