Christy Joins Husker Baseball Staff

What has two thumbs and loves this hire? This guy. Great move IMO. Christy was one of the soundest catchers I have seen in a long time. The guy may not of hit .300, or .275 for that matter, but was great with his bat control in hit and run situations as well as sac bunting. On top of that the guy was a rock behind the dish. Started 60+ games during the glory run, and threw out most runners that attempted to steal on him his whole career at NU.

Erstad gets a big one of there for the hire :thumbs

I hope for Coach Erstad's sake you don't mean that's going inside of him Paul.
