Clarett hurtin' for cash

Reminds me of LP. It's a shame that these one-time great collegiate players just toss their future in the gutter and tarnish their accomplishments on the field to boot.

Why would you do that (allegedly) when you have a job playing football to start just days from then.

Do you think everyone(media) will bring this up for the next 10 years like they have with LP? Or how about that dufus from CU that turned pro and put out a contract to have his wife snuffed. Did LP do something so heinous that he is the gold standard by which all other df's are judged by?

Clarett seems to be a very blunt tool in the shed. ;)

Rae Carruth (from CU) wasn't a Hypesman trophy candidate on a National Championship team. LP was, so what he did, and has done since, is far worse than Carruth.

:sarcasm

Most Husker fans (me included) always complain about how every article (except those out of Canada) that mention LP has to highlight that he went to NU while barely mentioning the NFL teams that gave him his multiple extra chances.

its always "Former Nebraska RB Lawrence Phillips...oh by the way, the Rams and 49ers".

well, now Clarrett is eternally "former Ohio State RB Maurice Clarrett", while his NFL chance is an after-thought.
