Vegas money is usually pretty smart. The vegas line is all about where people bet. It has nothing to do with who they think will win. The Casinos are just trying to stay in the middle of the betting so they make their money. USC could be playing Army and if everyone is betting Army, then they will move the line to favor them.
Because they rely on the masses on where to put the line. In my opinion one vegas odds maker on his own is no better at predicting a game than me. However he has the luxury of seeing where everyone is betting and moves the line according to where everyone else is betting ensuring the casino stays in the middle.Vegas money is usually pretty smart. The vegas line is all about where people bet. Nah, more like the electric football sets.Ya mean the coach doesn't put them out there like wind up toys? <_<
Not all true. Who the favorite is almost never changes, just the spread. For instance. Vegas thinks Clemson is going to win. The more people bet on Clemson, the bigger the spread gets, as the most money is bet against the spread, not strait up. So regardless, Vegas thinks Nebraska is going to lose. To a team that was 5-5 vs 1A opponents, they played two 1-AA teams this year, only 2 of the 5 losses were to teams currently ranked, Alabama and Georgia Tech. The Huskers 4 losses are all to top 25 teams. Go figure.Vegas money is usually pretty smart. The vegas line is all about where people bet. It has nothing to do with who they think will win. Talent and speed....and the there is talent and speed...did I mention that Clemson has more talent and speed?OK I guess you get the picture. We have had as good a year as I could have imagined this year but we pale in comparison to Clemson when overall talent and speed are compared. Now dont get me wrong our coaches have executed our game plans and gotten the most out of the guys we have but as far as talent and speed Clemson is in the top 10 guys....beleive me,they rank right up there with the best.Is there something y'all aren't telling us or is Vegas on crack cocaine? We don't have an OC or a DC yet Clemson is still favored. I guess Vegas thinks our team runs itself.
Maybe, but they certainly didn't play like they had top 10 talent and speed. I think NU has the advantage in the trenches on both sides of the ball - and that may be more important than talent or speed. Should be a good game.Talent and speed....and the there is talent and speed...did I mention that Clemson has more talent and speed?OK I guess you get the picture. Our HC was gone on October 13th. Our wide receivers coach was immediately named interim HC. Within 3 hours the interim HC fired our OC. We played our last 6 games without an OC. The interim HC had our 29 year old QB coach up in the booth calling the plays. He doesn't have any OC experience.I knew about the DC, but the OC is gone too?
