Coach Riley’s Teams Fared Better

Its wierd that OSU went 5-4 and we went 5-6, but its because we played Both UWs twice. It was definitely most recently that OSU has done better than us against common opponents, plus the upset over USC.

 
Hard to draw any conclusions from those games. Nebraska did better than Oregon State on several occasions, worse in others, and about the same in several more.

Could've made the a more direct comparison with just the series vs Washington, Wisconsin, and UCLA. Both teams split (essentially) with Washington and Wisconsin. OSU split with UCLA while we went 0-2.

2012 was also a critical year for NU and also a 'peak' year for OSU. They held Wisconsin to 7 points, while we surrendered 97 points in two games.
