coaching change next week?

I have no insider info and I know nothing, I'm simply wondering what all of you think. Assuming we lose to Texas on Saturday, is there any chance that Callahan "resigns" next week?

I really thought we would hear something this week, but obviously that's not the case.

I haven't read all the reply's so please forgive me if this has been said.

I believe that if Nebraska continues to get waxed every week for the next 4 weeks, that BC will have essentially buried his coaching career. :) Honestly what team college or pro would take a chance on him as a HC or OC? Especially if his track record has him bringing down the Raiders then 1 of the historical powers in college football. No owner or university is going to want that type of publicity. This being said I wouldn't doubt if we get waxed byt Texas this week and get waxed again by Kansas next Saturday that he offers up his own resignation to salvage what's left of his coaching career. :)

GBR!!

Maybe he will go to NFL Europe to escape the Husker Fans, because WE ARE EVERYWHERE... :restore

two wins puts Nebraska at 6-6...and the Big 12 will have too many bowl eligble bowl teams for its alotted bids. They must finish 3-1 to make a bowl game.
Most bowls care about money and Nebraska fans always travel well, BUT if BC is still coach I don't see a large fan following. It's really sad to think about or to say. I think you're right, 3-1 to go bowling.
