Cody Green/Tulsa

I wonder if Tulsa regrets hitching their trailer on the Cody Green train. They were trending up before he got there. Had the pleasure of meeting their staff on a recruiting visit. Great bunch of people. Hope they get things straightened out.

Still know people who actually think he should be the starting QB here....
Same here. I know of two that legitimately think Cody got screwed over because Taylor's Dad payed Bo to play Taylor. Seriously.

I mean, how do you even acknowledge that kind though process.

I didnt and just walked away.

If your line does not block and sustain, the chances of the QB having a productive night are greatly limited. I watched part of that game. Things went down hill for Tulsa frequently.

I also watched some VERY bad throws by Cody, looks of lobbed jump balls.

I've always felt that watching Cody Green was like watching a robot play quarterback. Needless to say I'm happy with how things turned out for the Huskers

If you did not watch the game, Cody was benched early in the 4th quarter. I am surprised 17/34 stats. I thought 33% or less..........terrible throws by Green most of the time.

I always liked Cody Green at Nebraska. I like him more at Tulsa.

I don't have anything bad to say about Cody. He seemed like a nice, young man that just wasn't able to make it work out at NU. He gave it a try, and got beat out by Martinez. It happens.

I did watch some plays in the game last night, and he seemed to have the same problem he did at NU. Whenever Cody tries to make a throw downfield, the ball almost always sails on him. He has decent arm strength, but terrible accuracy.
