If you go back to Dec 2014, wonder if Mendenhall would take a HC job at NU? Dont think he was offered or contacted.

 
In an interview with the local TV station here in VA, Bronco said there were very few jobs he'd consider leaving BYU for, but UVa was one of them. If you believe that, and I tend to since I think he would've left for elsewhere if he just wanted more money or a bigger program, one assumes Nebraska wasn't on that list, and Eichorst knew that.

From what I've read, the BYU faithful were ready for him to leave. They claimed he'd hit his peak and couldn't get over the hump.
