Comment from Tide fan about Hokie players

Dropped over to tidefans.com to wish them luck in the MNC against UT and most are extremely impressed with our defense. One poster even commented that we showed them (Bama) what they needed to do to control Texas. One other poster however had this to say.

It may be small consolation, but Hokie football players said Huskers hit harder than Alabama football players. Several of the Hokies expressed a desire never to have to play Nebraska again .

I remember it being said earlier that we weren't hitting as hard as we once did as a defense. This means we are getting back to that level.

With a weight room facility like NU, there's no reason why we shouldn't be the most physical football team in the country.

That's an awesome comment coming from the Hokies. Personally, and I've had conversations with people before about this, I like seeing our defense so physical that players on opposing teams routinely get their bells rung.

As an aside: I'm watching the Clemson/GTech game on 360 right now and it just reminded me how easy a physical defense can be to have. I was also thinking about the fact that the style of offense you play usually dictates whether the defense will be physical. Man I love triple option football.

I would imagine they wouldn't want to play us again... we physically abused them all game to the point of exhaustion.
