With all the rule changes to prevent injuries, why hasn't the halo rule been brought back? I loved this rule. The punt was almost always returned, and IMO the punt returner was more protected.
One of the reasons it hasn't been brought back is because of all the punt returns during that era... Taking away one of the more exciting plays during a game...With all the rule changes to prevent injuries, why hasn't the halo rule been brought back? I loved this rule.
