Shocked that Frazier didn't make the cut this year. 1st and only player to win 3 MVP awards in national title games. 2x national champion. Heisman runner-up. What more could he have accomplished?

There's an "unwritten rule" that they don't take two players from the same team in the same year. I think the max that can get in is 14 per year, so they split it up some.

Tommie has a legit case for the Greatest College Football QB of All Time. If he doesn't get into the hall, the hall is meaningless.

If they had to pick one between Frazier and Shields, you can't really fault them for picking Shields. The man was also, legitimately, one of the greatest of all time. Congratulations to him for a very well-deserved honor. :bigredn:

Will Shields paved the way for the pipeline. And about a dozen 1,000 yard rushers. Glad to see him get honors. None was better.

Frazier or Will would have been a really good choice.

Just out of curiosity, isn't Shields older than Frazier and was this Shields' first year on the ballot?
