Utah and Colorado was honored Pac-12 Day; Boise State had an entire page dedicated to it on the Mountain West website.

So what did Nebraska get for its new conference alignment with the Big Ten?

Cookies.

In a touching gesture (single tear), the Northwestern athletic department sent Nebraska's entire athletic staff cookies, each with a logo of a Big Ten school, to welcome the Huskers to their new conference.

Altogether now: "Awwwww!"

NOW I know why Nebraska lost to Michigan in the tradition battle. NW was sending us extra cookies that we couldn't clear.

I'm glad to see that Northwestern didn't write out "IOA" on the Hawkeye's cookie because that would have looked weird, what with NW always getting the W... Also go ahead and eat up the NW cookies, but if Kirk and his gang send cookies don't eat them. They will make your kidneys fail.

Okay. I'm done with my corny (albeit humorous to me) Hawk-bashing for today.
