Was surprised at how much flack Banderas got for being "slow" this year while Cooper got very little. Bando would run circles around Cooper.

Cooper was solid but that's about it. He didn't miss very many plays (when he could get there) but he really didn't make any outstanding plays either. I really think if Alexander wouldn't have been suspended we would have seen a lot of Gerry/Alexander out there.

No, Williams played quite a bit for a true freshman but it was mostly at Nickel/Dime. Cooper rarely came off the field.

I'm not saying he didn't deserve to be out there. There are ways to contribute that don't make the highlight reel. But I don't think he's a key piece of a great defense. I don't see an NFL contributor.
