One week after having arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee, the Huskers' first baseman looked comfortable in the batting cage during practice.
Corriston's lateral movement also appears OK, but he's not yet running all out. Since the plan was to get him 100 percent by the postseason, unless he comes a lot further in the next 48 hours figure on him being used only in a pinch against Texas A&M this weekend.
Next weekend at Missouri might be a different story, but the real news here is that Corriston appears to be recovering without any complications.

At least he seems to be recovering fairly quickly. Still wish we had him at full strength for this weekend.
