Cotton Bowl here we come

While the Cotton may not be as high profile as the Fiesta, it may do better to help recruiting. The teams are allowed to bring in recruits for unofficial visits to the bowl practices. Since we are placing such an emphasis on recruiting Texas it would be easier to get those recruits to drop by for a visit.

You guys are right on about this one. It would have been great to play in the Fiesta bowl, but the Cotton bowl is not that bad either. A bowl game in Texas where we have spent a lot of time and energy trying to recruit kids can not be a bad thing for a team on the uprise in college football.

Keep bringin them Texas players in baby! I'm satisfied with going to the Cotton Bowl, I am not, however, happy about the early start time. <_<
