Couple does porn to make ends meet.

It must be sweeps time. These kinds of "news" stories always come out around that time of year.

 
I tried to do something like this years ago, but they only gave me a one time payment to take the site down and promise I would NEVER do it again.

 
I think the premise of the story was interesting, but it just came off as kind of like "advertising" like this couple either wants a normal job or they want more hits on their porn website and are using this news story to get it.

I dont think it is sad they are doing porn. I think it is sad that they dont have any skills other then sex. I mean... $350 a week is the most he can get?

Kind of creepy how the journalist was watching this happen in another room.. kind of creepy.

as opposed to any other news story about a married couple who run a business? If I ran a small mom & pop store and the media came interviewing me about it, I'd be thrilled if it generated more business. Business are plugged each and every day on TV. Again, more power to them if they can get it done for free by a new media outlet.

btw, that 350/week he is getting very well could be after taxes. So that's about $500 before taxes or on a 40 hour week...$12.50/hr. Isn't terrible, but hard to provide for a family of three on. He specifically stated in the interview he'd like to learn an actual trade

strangly enough i had an opportunity to do something like this about 4 years ago! a guy and girl approached me and an ex girlfriend about doing porn while we were in florida, handed us a business card and sat there and tried to talk to us about it. we were never gonna do it but we figured what the hell lets listen to them, cheap entertainment!! really paid well though! if i remember right a 5 minute video was worth a grand and it didnt matter what we were doing as long as we had our clothes off!! if youve gotta do it you gotta do it!

 
chuck palahniuk wrote a short story like this in 'haunted'. and if you know anything about him, needless to say, it was grim and depressing.
