This recipe is posted below and here is my picture of it. I made it for Thanksgiving to put over cauliflower and broccoli. It is really good! I doubled the recipe and cooked it on low on the crockpot. It was one thing that I wouldn’t have to do later for Thanksgiving dinner. I did add some cayenne pepper on top when I plated it.
Velveeta Cheese Sauce:
Doubled This!
2 Tablespoons Butter
2 Tablespoons Flour
2 Cups Half-And-Half
3 Cups Cubed Velveeta Cheese
Salt & Black Pepper, To Taste
It Called For 1Tsp. Sugar, But, I Didn’t Use Any
Paprika Or Cayenne For Topping
Melt the butter in saucepan, remove from heat.
Using a whisk, blend in flour.
Return to heat, gradually whisk in the half-and-half cream; bring to a light boil, keep whisking until the mixture is smooth.
Add in the cubed Velveeta Cheese and continue to whisk until the cheese is melted. Remove from heat.
Add in the sugar, if using, and salt and pepper; whisk until combined.
Pour over veggies just before serving.
Sprinkle paprika or cayenne on top.
