Current Staff

Since it seems inevitable that a new coach will be running the team next year, who if any of the current staff would you like to see stay on? You would think that there would have to be at least a couple of holdovers from the current staff.

I would like to see us keep Watson as TE coach, Rudolph in some aspect, and Busch probably not as a position coach but as Recruiting Coordinator. I think Watson is a good coach, he is a proven winner in the Big 12 and I think he would be an asset to the program. Busch is an outstanding recruiter and if that is all he had to focus on just think what he could do. Also he is a Nebraska native with ties to the program and out of all the current coaches he knows what it means to be a Husker. As far as Rudolph goes I don’t know where you would put him but I think he would be valuable to the team in the long haul. He knows what it takes to play for championships from his time at OSU and we need young energetic guys on our sideline.

As far as the rest of the guys if I had to pick one more it would be Wyatt. He has connections in the South and would help with recruiting those states. I also think he brings a fire to the teams which by the looks of it this year Busch and him are the only ones that really show emotion on the defensive staff.

Wags, Gilmore, Coz, Elmo, and Callahan are all done. Wags has been a major letdown and his squad has never improved. The can pass block but that is it. The WR drop too many passes and have since Gilmore has been here. Coz and Elmo need no explanations. I would like Callahan to stick around in some fashion other then HC but we all know that is not going to happen.

Nothing of us say means in anything and pulls no weight when it is all said and done, I just wanted to see if anyone shared the same opinions of some of these guys as I do.

Some will say nobody and I expect that but oh well.

NONE! I haven't seen any improvement at any positions to want any of the Coaches on staff now.

I would probably keep Randy jordan and Shawn Watson. I think that watson would be a better OC if he didnt have the devil speaking no stop in his headset
