Really, even though he's a schmuck, it's gotta suck having millions of people blame you for things that were mainly Texas's design.

True, but isn't his job as commish to not let Texas get away with those things and keep all schools in the conference happy and not just the golden child?

Not if he's there by design. I wonder if there was more in it for him under the table to be their puppet.

 
So Beebe is changing his position from missionary to reverse cowboy for Texas--why start a thread about it? :hookerhorns

 
What a double standard! Nebraska demands a change in leadership, the state of Texas labels us crybabies. Oklahoma makes the same demand a year later, they are heralded as saviors. What a joke of a conference!

Nah....Beebe won't get the blame after the new commish bows down before texas and everything ends up the same...

 
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't OU the main reason why Beebe was selected as commissioner? If I recall UT didn't really care for him and didn't want him right?

 
People are laughing at him because of this, but he has the last laugh due to his contract extension last year. If I were him I'd say "go ahead, I'll take the money without having to do anything."
