DH had a telling comment near the end of spring when he said a couple of the young receivers got behind the defense & added, “that’s the first time we’ve gotten that this spring”.

So this change in tune is hopefully an indicator this unit can produce some explosives

It sure would be sweet to see our receivers get more separation this year than what I remember from last year. I'm optimistic.

Frankly just catching the ball more consistently would make a world of difference, the number of dropped passes has been staggering. Even 10% more catches, who knows what difference that makes.

I also hope we can come down with balls that are contested and not even try to keep them from ripping them out of the WR's hands.

I know it happens but damn did we have some guys drop some very catchable balls last year. Also Dylan did miss a couple guys who were wide open (as in over threw them)
