David Knevel questionable

I worry about Cav being stubborn and putting in an injured Knevel while not using Farniok at all. Seems like depth is still a concern at OT.

hate to see a guy hurt but i would like to see someone besides knevel out there

Problem is, I don't think we know the last time we saw Knevel healthy. My recollection is he was playing fairly well before the injury this first game. I'm not the best judge of line talent though.

He was (presumably) healthy to start the Arky St game.  But was not really that good.

neither am i but it seemed to me most of the busted plays last week when a defender came untouched through the line it was the right side.  im not sure if it has more to do with knevel or farmer but that side of the line has been a problem since last season. not sure if it is all injuries or farmer and knevel not being very good or both.

That's the tough thing. We've heard a lot of the last several months/years that Knevel has the tools to be one of the best offensive linemen on the team, and that he often looks really good in practice. DB has said more than once that Knevel has looked like their best linemen during practices the last few years. But, come gameday, it wouldn't translate (this was prior to his 2016 injury).

Whether injuries played a role or not in game one, it's just a disappointing situation all around. It'd be great to know he's completely healthy and then be able to offer fair judgement.
