Philadelphia, PA -- A confrontation inside a Brewerytown store led to the death of a man who was thrown through a window. Police said that the argument appeared to be about food that was prepared in the Community Food Market & Deli at the corner of 29th and Oxford streets.

Sources in the police department told NBC 10 News that there was a dispute between a customer and Emanuel Oliver, a 52-year-old man who made sandwiches in the store. A fight broke out and the employee crashed through the window. A witness told NBC 10 that the customer was upset because his food order was not correct.

The crime scene unit said that they believe the glass came down on Oliver's neck. He was taken to Hahneman Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

"I'd never seen him argue with anybody, never seen him in a problem. It's just crazy. It's like crime around here, every single day something's going on," said Rosanna Ousley, a resident of the area.

Another area resident told NBC 10 News that Oliver was going home to the Dominican Republic in a couple of weeks. The shop was closed Tuesday night so workers could clean up the scene. The alleged attacker has not yet been apprehended. Police described him as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. They believe he lives in the neighborhood.
