Pretty crazy how similar they are but I'm pretty sure the more recent one gets my vote.

Dayum! That was a pretty sick hit. Both of those hits were completely legal, and sadly today they would be 15 yard penalties...

My thoughts exactly. The reactions of the officials and the broadcasters would be noticeably different.
