We need his leadership on the field. Just having him on the field will give the entire D confidence. I would hold him out one more game though unless we really need him.

If he's ready, he's ready. Besides, his "one more game" could have been UTC. He may have been able to go last week.

Not about if he is game ready. I think we can afford to hold him out this week and get our young guys reps. After watching last weeks game if Dennard goes down in Big 10 play we are in Big trouble.

 
I think Fresno is going to be harder then we realize. Let's not take that chance. If wyo was next week, then I would agree with you skull.

 
I hope he isn't rushed back.

That said, he might be a bit rusty if his first game back is Wash, which isn't ideal either.

But I want to see our other corners get a lot of time early in the season while they can, too.

 
Glad to hear he will be back. Defense just got better and Fresno St. is no slouch...I expect them to come out firing.

I don't think we'll see him Saturday, insider elsewhere doesn't expect him til we play Wiscy. My guess would be his first game is Washington.

 
he said on Sunday he'd be out 2 games. I took the other comments more as he really wants to get out there. Not that he definitely will.

 
He'll be ready to play if and when we need him. I don't think he'll have much rust to shake off.

If the Fresno State game is one more game where we don't have to worry about him getting hurt, that's fine. I'm all for letting the young guys get more experience, because we'll need them.
