Desmond Howard...

For anyone who missed it, during the Poinsetta Bowl, Desmond "Dumbass" Howard spoke about the matchup between TEXAS and Cal. He didn't just forget the A&M...he wanted to see how Thorpe winner AARON ROSS stacked up against Deshawn Jackson. :madash :madash :madash

During a Gameday this year which was in Columbus(home of the Buckeyes), they were booing him and he turned around and said "stop", whining like a little girl. He doesn't know anything about anything right now and should give up on broadcasting

ESPN fires a guy like Trev Alberts so they can feature a guy like Desmond Howard. The only thing worse was when they put Tony Dorsett on the Greatest Team Ever Challenge.

Most of the ESPN announcers are bone heads however, it sounds like Trev Alberts had it coming with his too big for his own britches antics. That being said, I would still like to see him come back even though we all know it will never happen.

I also heard that Trev's ego may have gotten him in trouble at ESPN. But this morning I watched his interview with Dan Marino on CSTV. It was soooo much better than anything that Mark May, Lou Holtz, Desmond Howard, Todd Blackledge, or Lee Corso could have done. But I guess journalism isn't something ESPN is looking for in its college football coverage.

Especially Holtz!!!! He is more distracting than anything. He does not speak intelligently and his lisp kills me.
