NU Pushes Toward Season Opener

LINCOLN – The Nebraska football team continued fall practice Friday with a two and one-half hour workout on the FieldTurf inside Memorial Stadium. The Huskers continued to undergo situational drills in half pads as they prepare for the Sept. 3 season opener against Maine.

Not only will Dillard play, I fully expect him to be starting by the middle of the year. Also look for Barry Turner to play A LOT.

Keep us posted Pill on your games. How does the team look. I can only barely remember the excitement of high school football. So far back it is unbelieveable. I have my 40 year class reunion on the 16th of September, I scored a winning touchdown on that weekend my senior year. It will be fun to be back, we are all going to our high school game that nite also. Should be a lot of fun.
