Dillard

Does anyone think that there might be any friction between Pelini and Dillard from when the linebacker decided to sign with NU over OU? There was some talk about Pelini calling Dillard a liar. I mean obviously their going to have to patch up the relationship but with the age of Dillard, is he going to just move on or will their be some friction?

Pelini had one-to-one's with everyone on the team. I'd assume he and Dillard came to an understanding. Bo probably admitted that he'd had an axe to grind due to being treated so shabbily by Pedey. A lot of guys would be bitter if they did what Bo did only to get kicked to the curb anyway.

I imagine Dillard is just glad to see Cosgrove gone. Everything I've heard (all unsubstantiated rumors) said Cosgrove and Dillard didn't see eye to eye. That, plus a Chicago born coaching staff and a Chicago born McKeon led to a lot more playing time for McKeon than he otherwise would have gotten.

I don't know how any defensive player could not be excited to play for Pelini.

Although this comment might be completely irrelevant; I just thought that I would say that on my NCAA Football game I was in dynasty mode and Dillard became a starter in 2009. The following year he was awarded with the "Linebacker of the Year" trophy!!!! GBR :bonez
