Did anyone else find the fact that every time there was a penalty they did a split screen of the refs and bo on the sideline. Give the story a rest fellas, its over.

 
Yes. Lots of close-ups of Bo after penalties. Agreed kinda BS.

For anyone who watched the Arizona-Oregon game, Mike Stoops made Bo Pelini look like a Girl Scout. He was cursing a blue streak at his players and the refs throughout the whole game and he didn't have 10% of the reason to b!^@h about the refs that Bo did. Of course, the commentators made the obligatory comment that Stoops has the temper that goes with coming from Ohio . . .

Also, that Nevada-BSU game was great. Feel bad for BSU's kicker, but very, very happy for Nevada. That was just a great game. BSU is in a lot of exciting games.

 
It's the media. They're going to do stuff like this whether we like it or not.

Gotta give props to Bo for being rather calm and collected on the sidelines yesterday, though.

 
It didn't bother me. Bo's outbursts were a story in college football last week, especially since it was publicly announced he would be talked to about it by the university. It's only natural they'd point a camera at him to see if/how his reactions had changed.

Some fans really need to stop taking the media doing its job as a personal insult, good lord.

 
I watch Arizona Oregon and noticed that the commentators were applauding Stoops for being so fired up. When he got flagged they were quick to dismiss it as 'oh he's getting his team fired up like when a basketball coach takes a technical to defend his team.' However when Bo got flagged last week it was unprofessional, he was insane, etc etc. I know it was two different crews but still.

 
When you call attention to yourself with your sideline antics, you get attention. If Bo can keep it together like he did against CU, they'll quit wasting a camera on him.

 
What disgusted my even more is the way Edward Cunningham talked about Bo and his outbursts during the game.

Bo walked around like Oz or Perlman had an electrical device attached to his nuts.....one small flare up and zap, he is down for the count! poor guy, felt sorry for him, must have been a b!^@h being shackled like that....forever?.....forever is a long time, especially for Bo!

I wouldn't go quite that far, but yes Stoops is at the level of Bo Pelini and probably exceeded that yesterday. But you won't be hearing about that. Because it's Arizona and no one cares.

Great observation. A member named Stuntz 2 Crouch was ranting about this same subject on some other thread before he lost his mind, but It's hard to catch the west coast games in my time zone. And the whole "Ohio" thing...WTH does that mean? But obviously a double standard if you compare the two of them. Maybe partly because Nebraska is such a more succesful program and is more in the national spotlight than Arizona.?.?

Of course they were going to show him. I would have been more shocked if they didnt. I was at the game and after any flag or odd play I looked over at him.
