I thought this art was somewhat interesting. In a way I can say I at least identify with the sentiment of the writer. Not comparing 'skers fans to yanx fans, but I know I had similar feelings during the '90s when we were beating the dye outta the jersey of every team that dare line up across from us.
Whether you can acknowledge it or not (its not easy), if you had that feeling of dispair when we did finally lose to ASU (in '98?), then you know the feeling. I was pissed that we were mortal. For a while I think I truly convinced myself that we were never going to lose again. Amazing to think that I look back now and feel that those losses were almost as good for the program as winning the titles. Well maybe not *good*, but at least "necessary".
