Do we win without the favorable 4th Down spot?

Yes we got a good spot. But we also got a terrible spot 2 plays before. I watched it several times via DVR. We Lost over a yard on it. They had a player get injured on the play.... maybe that distracted the refs. It should have been 3rd and less than a yard and we have yet to see qb sneak with Tommy stopped in that scenario. The 4th down spot was a make up call
True.

Anyway, Newby is shifting, speed and good hands but absolutely no power. Luckily, that spot was favorable. When healthy, I believe Oz instead of Newby in 4th down and short.

Newby got tripped up, so I doubt Oz would have done any better.

If he would have gained 1 more yard and the spot would not have been an issue..... Would have we came up with the next call that was close and started a similar thread?

Was the spot on the previous 3rd down 4 inches or so off? Did we check that? Kind of like missing the last second field goal....yeah, the kicker missed it, but what about the other 59 minutes and 59 seconds before that....
