Actually no, it sh#ts in Tony's ex-backyard. Carmelo and little Anthony have a bear visiting them. My mother who lives in north, north Jersey has got problems with bears all the time. In fact, she's had to get new garbage cans about ever two months.
That's right Tony is technically now a free man. He's hittin' everything in sight. Even the things he can't seem to get he manages to bang iin his dreams. He's got the hot's for Dr. Melfi, also another ex.
Not too much action in the first episode, but I believe the scene is set for a very dirty, nasty, almost deadly break up between Tony and Carmelo. Things are going to get a hell of a lot worse between them. Something Tony is going to quit paying Carmelo and just give money to Anthony. Carmelo can't take Tony to court for child support because for one she doesn't have the money, she never controlled the funds, and two because Tony does claim a little for taxes but not much. Everything is off the books. If she does file for child support she get very little compared to what she could get without the courts.
Paulie and Tony's nephew shot and killed that waiter at the end, poor bastard. Just right before that they almost got into a fist fight. There are some definent tensions between them. And even though Paulie called and "made up", this isn't over by a long shot. Something big is going to happen between them. In their first argument at the bar, they were talking about that episode (one of the best ever) when the both of them wrestled with that Russian and then dragged him out to the Pine Barrons where they sort of "shot him." I still don't think he's dead.
All and all not bad. Some nice pieces of a$$, literally, which always makes it a better show.
