does anyone still think.

that martinez is better than robinson? I remember that there were quite a few husker fans that were saying Martinez was faster and better last year, so i was wondering if those fans still had that belief.

It is tremendously difficult to make an assessment on Martinez, or this offense in general, after the two games we've seen. They've barely cracked open the playbook, and they're still trying to figure out starters on the O Line at this point.

Also, are you asking people to compare Sophomore Martinez with Junior Denard Robinson? Or Sophomore Martinez through two games with Sophomore Robinson through his first two games of last year?

I do not recall anyone saying that he was better.
I'm pretty sure there were quite a few posts saying Marty was better. Through the first few games, when Marty was torching everyone on the ground and being talked about as a Heisman contender, those comparisons were made and Husker fans - not surprisingly - supported their own player.

I don't remember a lot of people saying he was better straight up... but I for one can stand up and say I am one that said Martinez as a freshman was better than Robinson as a freshman.

I feel like they've been keeping Marines in 3rd gear till this week personally. I think for Washington, you are gonna see the Cornhuskers as a whole on another level of intensity.

Robinson isn't the same in the new offense. It's a shame, he was really fun to watch in RichRod's system. He'll do OK in the WCO, but he's not going to be what he was.

Martinez may be the fastest in CFB in 10yrds....QB for sure...and they both play 500 to their recievers to see who comes down with it, so it will come down to who has better recievers as far as passing yards go. Robinson may have a slightly better top speed, but martinez gets to top speed faster, but it looks like Michigan will probably throw more and we will run more, so the stats will probably show that. Maybe we can get them to race pre game.
