Does O'Hanlon make an NFL roster?

He's gotta catch on somewhere. The guy is just a gamer. Gritty, determined, all the things you would want in a DB. He also just happens to be a damned fine tackler, and he spent a lot of time around the ball last season, much to the chagrin of ballcarriers.

The Giants signed him yesterday (probably the same as being added to the roster that nuance mentioned).

But they also cut a guy - a safety.

He just might make the roster.

Looks like O'Hanlon and Asante got cut yesterday.

• Cleveland's most notable cuts were to two draft picks: former Nebraska defensive back Larry Asante (fifth round) and former South Carolina defensive lineman Clifton Geathers (sixth round).

• The New York Giants released former Nebraska safety Matt O'Hanlon.
