No. He played in too many games in both his Freshman and Sophomore years to get a 6th year.Is there any chance DPE gets a medical redshirt season?
Didn't use a redshirt so it would be a 5th season, but my understanding is that the point still stands. I feel like there is a tell when DPE is getting the ball on a jet sweep. Teams don't react the way they do when someone else gets a jet sweep the way they do when he actually gets it. Even when it's just a fake to him they don't react. As soon as he has the ball it's like stink on sh#t the way teams cover it.I think it might be smart to call off the jet sweeps to DPE. As good as it sounds, it just isn't working.
But...like you said....that wouldn't be a "medical redshirt". To use his regular redshirt year, he would need to sit out 2017 and then play in 2018.Didn't use a redshirt so it would be a 5th season, but my understanding is that the point still stands.
