I see Jim Ryun of KU was one of the 10 hs sub four minute runners.

Husker trivia: Jim Ryun ran a sub four minute mile in the mushroom gardens underneath Memorial Stadium when they used to use it for indoor Big 8 track meets. It's written on an old wooden sign that lists the track records down there. You'd know how impressive that is if you've ever jogged down in the mushroom gardens.
