Dropped Balls

Walk-on
I wanted to know your opionions. The receivers for the huskers dropped 8? balls throughout the Texas game. The longhorns defensive backs are bad, always getting beat. Did the receivers lose the game for the huskers. Niles Paul is my favorite receiver, following all the dropped balls he had. GO HORNS! \m/

You can never blame one part of a game on one particuliar player or squad IMO. Having said that 4 of those passes would've given us 28 points..............can't leave that on the field and expect to win a game. I am giving them SOME of the blame for the loss.

There are players that played very badly and you can't blame it on just one guy so this is a total team loss. From the coaches not having the team prepared to all phases of the game not being played well.

Special teams were not terrible but when you see Prince A on the line and he doesn't touch his player and that player hits Paul the second he catches the punt, well Houston, we have major freaking problem.

When Ben Cotton doesn't block players in the zone read as WR/TE, you got major problems.

When Thenarse doesn't wrap his arms when he tackles and the offensive players get first downs on 3rd and long, you got problems.

Several WRs and RB's didn't catch balls, some for TD's, you got......, you get the idea.

When the defensive head coach doesn't adjust to a run oriented attack and stuff the box with a 4/3 or 5/2, you............

We had to earn this victory since the refs weren't giving NU too many calls, we just were not prepared.

That's a pretty darn good post.
