has anyone else noticed in the past two years the steady improvement of the Duke football program? sure they finished 5-7 but they did play some close games that they almost could have won. Virginia Tech 34-26L, North Carolina 19-6L, Wake Forest 45-35L.

losing Thadeus Lewis will hurt but i really do think David Cutcliffe has this team going in the right direction.

Cutcliffe has done some impressive things in his career. But Duke football is a different beast than Tennessee. Or even Old Miss. Building Duke football will be an uphill battle.
