So I wonder what is the main driver in the Raiola family disconnection wt Nebraska? Were they just gold diggers? I can’t believe we paid him $3.5 million. If he goes then I hope uncle is close behind. I’m not sold on Dana yet in how he is playing the Big 10 I still think we need an upgrade with OC & DC Let Rhule do what he does best- talking up the program and get some a couple of great coaches in here who understand what it takes to win in this conference.

I really don't think there's new information here. Of course he's "expected to consider the portal," every QB that isn't a starter on a playoff team is going to consider the portal. Hard to imagine both Raiola and Lateef here next year, I'm sure both of them are considering the portal and it's just a clickbait article because a decision hasn't been made.

If he truly believes he is an elite QB that should be in the Heisman race and top teir draft talk, he should leave. Being here will hurt his stock. Look at EJ. He is leader or near top in a lot of stats but isn’t even a finalist for Doak Walker bc he plays for an average team who gets beat every time we play a top team on national tv. I would take off for a top end warm weather contender.

NU wasn't paying the full $3.5M. He has some good deals with large companies (Adidas, Panini, maybe 1 or 2 others) that accounted for a decent amount. I would guess NU/1890 funded around $2M.

With the portal only opening in January, this is all the info/the type of info we are going to get. No one can officially enter until then, and commitments are going to happen 15 minutes later. Given that, there won't be any news until the deal is done, all backroom dealings now.

TY, scary title. But, Not worth a click though, because it sounds so crazy.

I mean, DR loves NU & Rhule. He already has the life.

Any transfer rumor after an injury sounds like Hog Wash imho. He'll be back as QB1 next year, have a good year, then go PRO.

I'd say there's a decent chance he stays, but this doesn't sound like hog wash, either. Even if he wants to stay, Dylan and his advisors might make the threat legitimate as leverage. It is a new world out there for sure and I don't like it much. NIL is ruining college football IMO.

Lol, there’s a bunch of articles out now stating DR is transferring. All of them are using the Chris Hummer CBS as the legit insider source. Some are going so far as to name schools like Bama who are on his short list. Haha

The way he said it though.... Like walking around egg shells. And a lot of stuttering. Rhule is usually very confident when he speaks.

Nothing strikes me as a smoking gun, and there's nothing he could say in that scenario that would be a surefire "ahhh, okay, thank you I feel great now", but "I haven't seen that so I don't know about that" isn't a confidence building response.
