Looking to book an elk hunt with my father sometime later this year or next. Does anyone have any experience with outfitters? I am not particularly picky with location. I do not need to shoot the largest bull. Looking for opportunity and a forever memory with my dad while he can still go.

I have guided in wyoming since the early 90s. You need preference points to draw a decent tag there. New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado offer transferrable landowner tags but you will pay dearly for the good ones- 10k+ for a good hunt. Demand far exceeds supply so your best bet is to plan several years out. Glad to chat options with you via PM. Lot of information on Rokslide forum if you join. Also a lot of BS to sift through.
