Head Coach
Who has stayed there on a game day?

I just looked and they are booked solid for every home game, including the Spring Game. Now, I am just in Omaha but I thought it would be sweet to get a room for the weekend of a home game to party all day and night, then just crash.

Do those rooms ever open up?

Is it worth it to stay there, even if you are in Omaha?

I like to party there before the games.

I've always stayed at the Holiday Inn on 9th Just a hop, skip and a jump from the Stadium. It isn't an express one so I couldn't be anything cool like a MD or anything. ;/

I've stayed there a few times in the past but not in the last 2 or 3 years. They usually make you book at least 2 nights (sometimes 3) and you'll have to call the front desk as they block out everything online. You're going to get a$$ raped on the price ($200-400 a night depending on the game) but its a fun place as they give you free food and booze (or at least they did at one time). One thing I used to do is book a room at a cheaper hotel and then call late Friday night to see if someone had canceled and they would sell me just a room for Saturday. That worked out more than once and then I canceled my other cheap room.

I also like the Holiday Inn down town.

I've stayed at the ES in Lincoln but not on a game weekend. It's a good place to stay otherwise. The Cornhusker is also a great place for game weekends but also very hard to actually get a reservation. When I'm lucky enough to get back for games, usually staying with family or friends.
